Privacy notice

Last updated: 29 October 2026

This notice explains how Langdale Advisory handles the personal information you give us through this website. We follow the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Langdale Advisory is the controller of the information you send us. For anything relating to this notice, write to elliott@langdaleadvisory.com.

What we collect

Through our enquiry form we receive your name, organisation, email address, telephone number if you provide it, and whatever you choose to tell us in your message. If you write to us or speak with us, we keep a record of that correspondence.

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Our web server keeps brief technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security.

How we use it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry and to arrange the conversation or introduction you've asked about. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before any agreement. We share your details with another party, such as a specialist or a business you've asked to meet, only with your agreement.

Who processes it for us

We don't sell personal information. It is held by the providers that host our website, email and records, who act only on our instructions. Where a provider stores data outside the UK, we rely on approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we go on to work together, in which case we keep what is needed for the length of that relationship and any period the law requires.

Your rights

You may ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, object to how we use it, or ask us not to contact you again. Write to us and we'll respond within one month. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
